Project Description

The site is positioned on a rocky ridge on a privately owned property at Waterloo. Operated by energy Australia, it began construction in November 2008 and has been operational since October 2010.

Purpose/Application

This wind farm spreads across 5 acres of land and cost about $350 million. It added 6 new turbines to the existing 37 turbines as part of expansion called Waterloo Stage 2 in 2016.
