Project Description
Wind power plant located in Margonin in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The first windmills stopped in 2009. It is currently the largest wind farm in Poland, consisting of 60 windmills with a total capacity of 120 MW.
Purpose/Application
Allows to meet the energy needs of 90 thousand households.
Unique Aspect
It is the largest wind plant in Poland. The windmills are grouped in two areas. Each of them covers an area of over 50 km². The total capacity of the farm accounts for over 2% of the capacity of wind farms currently operating in Poland.
