It is a concrete gravity dam which was built on Columbia River during the Second World War. In terms of capacity, it is the biggest power station of United States of America.

The dam has been fulfilling the purposes of power, water regulation, and irrigation.

Unique Aspect

The dam has a visitor center and it also organizes laser light shows and guided tours. Its history revolves around the conflict of its relocation between native Americans.
