Project Description
The Kozienice Power Plant is the second-largest coal-fired power plant in Poland with installed capacity on the level of 3,915 megawatts. The Kozienice power plant is a professional system, block and condensing power plant with an open cooling system for condensers from the Vistula.
Purpose/Application
Since Poland has huge resources of hard coal, one can use them to produce a useable product- electricity.
Unique Aspect
The second biggest power plant in Poland, the power station has one 300-meter (980 ft) high flue gas stack, which is one of Poland's tallest free-standing structures.
